The amazing Stone Arch Bridge in Westford, Massachusetts. Part of the Westford Conversation Trust lands this bridge can be reached via the Stone Arch Bridge Trail. As you follow the path through the tall pines and past the Russell Bird Sanctuary you begin to follow an old railroad bed to this amazing structure. Built in 1872 this architectural beauty was built using huge granite blocks without any mortar. How did they do it? Makes you wonder..... So happy I was able to see this spectacular 140 plus year-old structure that has withstood the test of time.
